Join our team to help fight hunger "One Bowl at a Time". Empty Bowls is a Community Fundraiser where individuals and families come to the MHS cafeteria and sample soup from local Quad Cities Restaurants.  Everyone that attends may pick out a hand-crafted student bowl to take home with them (all bowls are non toxic, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe) and sample as much soup and food as they like.  In past years, this event offered over 20 Varieties of Soups and snacks donated by your favorite local restaurants.  Over 300 people typically attend and the event raises over $3,000 for the Student Hunger Drive.  This year's event will be on Thursday, October 20th from 5-7 pm.  The suggested donation amounts to enter the event are- Student: $5, Adult: $10, Families: $15
