CLUBS
All History Club members: A reminder there will be no meeting this Wednesday (11/10) as we will be flag raising Tuesday and Saturday for Veterans Day. Please arrive at your assigned routes on Tuesday at 4pm for flag put up, and Saturday at 4pm for flag take down. Also take time to thank a Veteran this week.

Green Moline Club is hosting a campus cleanup today from 3:15-4pm. Everyone is welcome! Meet at the Front Entrance by 3:15. Please bring thick gloves to protect your hands, and dress warmly.

Fearlessly Girl will meet today after school in J329 until 3:45. We can't wait to see you, and please feel free to bring a friend.

This week, French Club is celebrating National French Week with a culture scavenger hunt. French cultural information will be posted throughout the school and there is a form to share what you've discovered. See Madame Stuedemann in J307 or Madame Ciucci in J323 to participate. Forms due by Friday at 3:00 in J307. A winner will be drawn Monday, November 15th. Bon courage!

Last Saturday, the JV Academic Team competed in the Morrison Cereal Bowl, their first ever in-person tournament. Congratulations to Rowan Smith on being selected as the most valuable player. Good luck to the team as they compete in the Butterfield Bowl this Saturday.

COUNSELING
Moline Foundation Scholarships - Over $60,000 worth of scholarships are available for MHS seniors! Awards are open to students attending two year or four year colleges and universities as well trade and technical schools. Deadline of February 15th. Visit the counseling website to apply.

Quad City Regional Auto Show Scholarship - Multiple $5,000 awards open to students planning to attend an Automotive Technical/Trade School. Deadline of January 16th. Visit the counseling website to apply.

SPORTS
Sophie Greko and Clara Van Note qualified for the State Swim Meet this past weekend at the IHSA Sectional. The State Championships will be held this upcoming weekend. Good luck girls!

Boys basketball tryouts will begin today. All Sophomore and Freshman should meet in the PEC at 3:30. All Seniors and Juniors should meet at Wharton Fieldhouse at 5:00. Please see Coach Taylor in J225 if you have any questions.
