Interact Club meetings will resume on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30am in room J327.

The JV and Varsity Academic Teams will have a combined ALL-remote practice today from 3-4 pm. ALL MEMBERS are strongly encouraged to attend, practice, and discuss the rest of the year. If you haven't already done so, please contact Mrs. Kim or Mrs. Holly Anderson to sign up for the Remind and the Google Classroom. Make sure to fill out the Player Information Form and the Academic Team Practice Preference Survey once there. Hope to 'see' you today!

Seniors students: If you need help completing the FAFSA or the Alternative Application, please plan to attend the MHS Virtual FAFSA Completion Night tonight from 3:30-7:00pm where Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) representatives will help families with the FAFSA via an online meeting. The meeting will have assistance available in English and Spanish.

Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarships - Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Students need a 3.0 GPA to apply. Deadline of October 31st. Visit the Counseling website to apply.

We are having an informational meeting for softball today and Thursday in the cafeteria from 12:30 - 1pm.

Student Parking Passes may be purchased at the Book Store for $20.00. Students must have a visible parking pass to park in all student parking spaces. All vehicles in parking spaces without a parking pass will be ticketed. Students who park in staff parking spaces will also be ticketed.

The Moline Public Library has craft kits for students in grades 6-12. Pick up a kit with the supplies, then check out the blog for a video demonstration of how to make Cubees and a standing ghost. Supplies are limited

Students in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in two Quad City area-wide contests during the month of October. Make a short video for the Teen Video Contest for a chance to win $100. Keep track of your minutes read in October for the Teen Reading Challenge to earn entries into drawings for great prizes. Information and entry forms are available at the Moline Public Library.

Tweens and teens in grades 6-12 can celebrate National Bat Month by making a string art bat. Register with the Moline Public Library and pick up a kit, then join Zoom program on October 26 @ 3:30 to learn how to create your own string art masterpiece. Space is limited.
