COUNSELING CENTER

Want to make $150 bucks and get a day off school?  The Rock Island County Clerk's office is looking for high school students interested in working as an Election Judge for the spring Primary Election on March 17th and the General Election next November 3rd.  Applications for this position are available on the school website, in the Counseling Center, and from your Social Studies teacher.  If you are selected, you will be paid per diem and your absence will count as a field trip only.  Applications and sign-ups are due to the Counseling Center no later than 3:30 on Wednesday, January 29th.

Thomas K. Evans Memorial Scholarship – Applicants needed for a merit-based, one-time $5,000 award for new college entrants pursuing education in science, technology, engineering and math. This has a deadline of March 2nd.

Army ROTC Illinois Tuition Waiver Scholarships - WIU ROTC is hosting a Tuition Waiver event on April 4, 2020 for qualified high school seniors to compete to earn a Tuition Waiver Scholarship to an Illinois State University for Fall 2020. This has a deadline of March 23rd.

Carol Jeanne Davis Education Scholarship - Scholarship for female students majoring in education. This has a deadline of April 1st.

P.E.O. Chapter KT Scholarship - $500 scholarship for female high school seniors with GPA of 3.0 and above. This has a deadline of April 1st.

Student-View Scholarship - $12,000 worth of scholarships offered to high school seniors who plan to attend a 4-year college, 2-year college or career school. This has a deadline of April 22nd.
