MHS Book Ends will be meeting today after school in the Info Hub. See you there!

If you'd like to be involved in the spring musical, ALL SHOOK UP, come to Drama Club today in the Multipurpose Room, 3:15-4 to find out more information. To sign up for an audition time or pick up a crew application, visit the Theatre Callboard across from the library. Auditions are January 27 and 28. See Ms. Callahan, Mrs. Koski, or Mr. Morton for more info on the musical.

Robotics will be meeting after school today and Thursday in room D-125.

FCA members: We will begin our leadership training tomorrow morning at 7:30am in room D137.  Anyone interested in finding out more about FCA is welcome to attend.

All Moline History Club members:  There will be a meeting on Wednesday, January 22nd at 7:30 am in the history lab.  Please wear your club shirts as we will take a club picture after school at 2:30 in the history lab.  Please bring drawings for coloring book to the meeting.

Authentic Voices will meet on Wednesday, January 22nd in B220 during 3rd period. Members must bring their signed pass to attend.


NHS members reminder: MHS National Honor Society Harold P. Griffith Scholar Award – $1,000 scholarship open to MHS National Honor Society senior members. The scholarship is renewable for 4 years. Applications must be returned to Mrs. Welvaert or Mr. Lindstrom. This has a deadline of January 31st. Applications are available on the Counseling website.

National Wild Turkey Federation's Academic Scholarship - Scholarship open to students who hunt. Applicants must write about why hunting is important to them. This has a deadline of February 21st.

St. Patrick Society Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship open to students related to a good-standing member of the St. Patrick Society. This has a deadline of February 19th.


Any girl interested in Track and Field should see Mr. Bohnsack in J-313. We will be starting practice today.  If you are unable to attend practice, please stop by J-313 to sign up. Please have a physical and running clothes.

Are you a Certified Lifeguard?  The Physical Education department needs Certified Lifeguards for the swimming units.  See any P.E. teacher if interested.


The Drama Club is sponsoring a field trip to see Kinky Boots at Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse on Feb.11. If you'd like to attend, pick up a permission slip on the Theatre Callboard across from the library and submit by Wednesday, Jan.22. See Mrs. Koski in J210 or Ms. Callahan in the choir room if you have questions.

The Moline Public Library is holding a pig brain dissection class on Monday, January 27 at 6:00 p.m. Call the public library to register.
