4-H has a great camp coming up where teens can explore career in agriculture, including engineering, mechanics, and vet sciences on the campus of Black Hawk College East. The cost is only $10 and includes free bus transportation from Milan, IL, pizza, snacks and a t-shirt. For more information and registration details and deadlines stop by the Counseling Center today.

The Quad City Negro Heritage Society has an opportunity for junior and senior female students to apply for the 2019-2020 Debutante Cotillion. Debutantes participate in 8 to 10 months of educational workshops, personal development, civic service projects and bonding activities. The program also provides scholarship opportunities. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.25 or above and be of African American heritage. Visit the Counseling website’s scholarship tab for details.

MHS Contemporaire Dance Team Tryouts will be held May 23rd at 3:30PM. Participation in clinics on May 21 and May 22 at 3:30PM is mandatory. Clinics and tryouts will be held in the Small West Gym (near tennis courts) at MHS. Check out the Moline High School Contemporaire Facebook page for more information.

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: Your English teachers will be bringing their classes to the library, so students can pick up their yearbooks. If you are not sure if you purchased one, please check Skyward or ask at distribution. They can check it for you. Please make sure you have paid any outstanding fines and have your ID with you. If you did not purchase a book, you can buy one at the bookstore starting Monday. The price is $65.00.

All Senior Jane Addams students: Please plan on meeting at Jane Addams Elementary on Thursday, May 23rd at 12:30. Please wear your cap and gown for the “Senior Walk”.
