The last Drama Club meeting will be on Tuesday in the scene shop. Join us for a celebration of the year and a farewell to the seniors. See Mrs. Koski in J210 if you have questions. Also, if you're interested in attending Theatre Festival next year, turn in your application by Tuesday. They can be found on the callboard by the library.
Seniors, Convocation is tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14th at 7:00 PM. All students planning to attend will need to meet in the cafeteria at 6:30 dressed in your cap and gown along with your departmental honors medals. Departmental honor medals will be passed out later today and tomorrow.
The boy’s tennis team had good results from Conference this past Saturday. Overall the team took second, losing to Quincy by 4pts. Both Adam Klumb and Dylan Wiemers competed in the singles draw. Dylan won the singles title, allowing him to win back to back conference titles. Last year he won in doubles, this year in singles. Mason Lapaczonek and Bhanu Pujari took 3rd in the doubles draw. Collin Meyer and Thomas McCormick placed 4th.
Congratulations to the Girls' track and field team on the top local team at the IHSA Moline Sectionals! Good luck to Megan Pittington qualifying in the 100 and winning the 400, Audrey Lamphier in the 100 hurdles, & Julie Glenn in the Disc. All qualifying to compete at the State Tournament this week!
All girls not competing at State need to be at Wharton for uniform and warm-up turn in and our track fun day!
Seniors not taking finals: If you need assistance with the procedure to keep your Chromebook, the Student Help desk in room B224, is available during your lunch and after school until 4:00pm during the week of May 13th-May 17th.
