Student-led Bible Study will meet today after school in J227 starting at 3:10.  All are welcome!

The last Drama Club meeting will be on Tuesday in the scene shop. Join us for a celebration of the year and a farewell to the seniors. See Mrs. Koski in J210 if you have questions. Also, if you're interested in attending Theatre Festival next year, turn in your application by Tuesday. They can be found on the callboard by the library. 


Seniors, Convocation is Tuesday, May 14th at 7:00 PM. All students planning to attend will need to meet in the cafeteria at 6:30 dressed in your cap and gown along with your departmental honors medals. 

Wyffels Hybrids, Inc. Scholarship - Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to students who will be enrolled in the Associates of Applied Science degree program in either Agribusiness Management or Agriculture Production. This has a deadline of June 14th.


A very big congratulation to the Boys Track and Field team on their Western Big Six Conference championship last night! Their 86 point victory was their first conference championship since 1983! The team won the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 110 hurdles, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, and pole vault events. Amazing work guys!

Congratulations to the Moline Boys Track team!  They won the Western Big 6 Conference Championship last night.  In 1983, Gas was $1.16, Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean was number one on the charts, Ronald Reagan was president and Coach Tauwon Taylor was in 5th grade. This was the last time the Maroons Boys Track team won the Western Big 6 Conference Championship.  Congratulations to the Boys Track team, Coach Taylor and his coaching staff!

Congratulations to the Moline Girls Track & Field team on an impressive runner up finish at conference.  Conference champions are 100m Hurdles - Audrey Lamphier, 100m Dash Megan Pittington, 200m Dash - Megan Pittington, 400m Dash Megan Pittington, Long Jump - Audrey Lamphier, 400m relay - Amaria Mayfield, Audrey Lamphier, Abigail Tossou, and Megan Pittington.

Congratulations to the Intramural season individual champions and winners of the 100 dollar grand prize for each division:  

Male Division - Devon Breiholz

Female Division - (3 way tie) Olivia Sander, Kelly Tounou, and Juliaene Glenn  

Thank you to all the participants this season. If you are interested in winning the 100 dollars next season make sure to check out the bookstore for the event schedule next school year.  If you have any questions just see Mr. Thompson or Mr. Larson.  


Tickets for the MHS 2019 prom - "A Night to Remember" - are on sale at the bookstore. The dance will be held at the River Music Experience from 7 to 10 pm this Saturday.

Attention seniors:  If you think you have had perfect attendance all four years of high school, please see Mrs. Woods in the Main Office.  

Seniors not taking finals:  If you need assistance with the procedure to keep your Chromebook, the Student Help desk, in room B224 is available during your lunch and after school until 4:00pm during the week of May 13th-May 17th.

The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center would like to thank the blood donors of Moline High School.  Your blood drive provided up to 480 products for patients in need.  They would like to express their thanks to our Student Congress for organizing it, and those who gave blood at the Blood Drive.
