CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

Members of Authentic Voices that ordered a t-shirt can pick them up today in the Counseling Center with Mrs. Thompson.

The Robotics Club will meet today after school in room D-125 for a short meeting.

French Club:  All members are encouraged to attend our French Café gathering today in J307 after school.  Come sample some café classics.  Bring a friend.

All History Club members: We will have a meeting on Wednesday morning at 7:30 am in the History Lab.  Please wear your t-shirts, as we will be taking a picture. We will also be finishing posters and discussing famous Moliner project.  Please make every effort to attend!

COUNSELING CENTER

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.: Xi Eta Omega Scholarship - scholarship is open to female students of African American descent with a GPA of 3.0 or above. This has a deadline of March 15th.

Society of American Military Engineers Rock Island Post Scholarships - Combination of one-year, two-year and four-year scholarships are being offered to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering and the physical sciences. At least one need-based scholarship will be offered as well. Applicants must be registered at an accredited engineering or science college and have a GPA of 3.2/4.0. This has a deadline of March 27th.

Tickets for the Sadie Hawkins Dance are on sale at the Bookstore for $10. The dance will be held at the Quad City Botanical Center on February 16th from 7 to 10 pm. We are pleased to announce that the song playlist for this dance has been selected by your senior class officers!

If you are bringing a guest from another school to the Sadie's dance, please pick up the form from either the Bookstore or Detective Brownell. The form must be completed and approved by Detective Brownell prior to purchasing your tickets. 

Quad City area libraries are holding a video contest for teens. Create a 3 to 5 minute movie for your chance to win $100. See the Moline Public Library for an entry form, or get one from their website. Entries are due February 27.

All students are required to purchase and display a student parking tag while parked at Moline High School.  Tags may be purchased at the bookstore before or after school, or at lunch.  No students are to park in staff parking for any portion of the day.  Those in violation of either policy may be ticketed and/or face school discipline.
