CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

Authentic Voices will meet today in B226 during periods 2 and 3. Members may come to only one meeting and must bring their signed pass to attend.

The Robotics Club will meet Tuesday after school in room D-125 for a short meeting.

French Club:  All members are encouraged to attend our French Café gathering on Tuesday in J307 after school.  Come sample some café classics.  Bring a friend.

COUNSELING CENTER

Sophomores--Please make sure that you complete your next year's schedules on Skyward before midnight today.  After today, the window will be closed, and you will not be able to select your classes online.

Caring.com Scholarship - Two $1,500 Student-Caregiver scholarships available to students who will care for an adult relative while in college. Applicants must be full-time students planning to attend a two or four year college or university. Deadline of June 30th.

SPORTS

Congratulations to the six wrestlers who qualified for the sectional tournament this past weekend. Regionals Champs Charlie Farmer 106, Isaac Martinez 132, Jayden Terronez 152, DeAnthony Parker 170, Cobie Underwood 285 and Regional Runner up Andrew Burkeybile 120. 

MISC

Tickets for the Sadie Hawkins Dance are on sale at the Bookstore for $10. The dance will be held at the Quad City Botanical Center on February 16th from 7 to 10 pm. We are pleased to announce that the song playlist for this dance has been selected by your senior class officers!

The cast and crew list for the musical is posted on the theatre callboard across from the library. All cast and crew are expected to be at the meeting tonight at 5:30. See Mrs. Koski in J210 or Miss Callahan in the choir room if you have questions.

All students attending the Circa 21 Newsies performance and workshops tomorrow, Be sure to get your teachers to sign the permission slip today. We will meet at the M at 8:15. Check in with your first period and then come to the main entrance to get the bus.

If you’ve ever wanted to learning about filmmaking… now’s your chance! Fresh Films is a youth film program located in the Quad Cities on the campus of Augustana College. This spring, students are invited to apply to be part of their film crew and help create a video & PSA for a local non-profit organization. You'll learn all about cameras, audio, and lighting while creating an uplifting story about a Quad City organization that positively impacts the community. No previous filmmaking experience is required and it’s FREE to participate! Students should apply by February 11th at freshfilms.org.
