CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

Student-Led Bible Study is canceled for today.  We will resume meeting next week.

Authentic Voices will meet on Monday, February 4th in B226 during periods 2 and 3. Members may come to only one meeting and must bring their signed pass to attend.

The Robotics Club will meet in room D-125 for a short meeting on Tuesday after school.

French Club: All members are encouraged to attend our French Café gathering next Tuesday, February 5th in J307 after school.  Come sample some café classics.  Bring a friend.

COUNSELING CENTER

Sophomores--Please make sure that you complete your next year's schedules on Skyward before midnight on Monday, February 4th.  After Monday, the window will be closed, and you will not be able to select your classes online.

There are great paying jobs in the manufacturing industry. Many top businesses in our area are providing tours for students and parents to explore these career opportunities. If you are interested in pursuing a career in the manufacturing industry please stop by the counseling center today for more information.

SPORTS

If you purchased Bulls tickets, they are in.  Staff tickets are in your mailbox and students should let their parents know that they can be picked up in the Athletic Office between 7:30-4:00.

Boys Swimming and Diving:  Diving is tonight at the Moline High School pool at 6pm. The swim meet is at Rock Island High School tomorrow at 12pm.

MISC

Meet Me in St. Louis auditions will continue after school today from 3:15-4:15 in the choir room. Call backs will be this evening from 4:30-6pm. Musical rehearsals begin Monday night with a parent meeting at 5:30pm in the choir room. See Mrs. Koski or Ms. Callahan with any questions. 

Quad City area libraries are holding a video contest for teens. Create a 3 to 5 minute movie for your chance to win $100. See the Moline Public Library for an entry form, or get one from their website. Entries are due February 27.

If you’ve ever wanted to learning about filmmaking… now’s your chance! Fresh Films is a youth film program located in the Quad Cities on the campus of Augustana College. This spring, students are invited to apply to be part of their film crew and help create a video & PSA for a local non-profit organization. You'll learn all about cameras, audio, and lighting while creating an uplifting story about a Quad City organization that positively impacts the community. No previous filmmaking experience is required and it’s FREE to participate! Students should apply by February 11th at freshfilms.org.
