Donut Eating Team Members: All of the money your team raised is due in the Counseling Center on Wednesday, Dec. 5th. If you have it now, please bring it to the Counseling Center.
MHS Students and Staff: Buy your raffle tickets from the Share Joys Elves this week. You could win a Samsung Smart T.V. and many other prizes listed on the sheets in front of the main office. The drawing for the raffles will be Friday after 4th period.
Moline Foundation Scholarships are available on the Moline Foundation's website. Students can also be linked through the MHS Counseling website. All scholarships have a deadline of March 15th:
Moline High School Class of ’65 Scholarship Fund
This is a $1,000 scholarship. Applicant must have been involved in at least one service-oriented activity or organization in his or her school, community or place of worship.
The Moline High School 1962 Michael J. Warren Memorial Scholarship Fund
This is a $500 scholarship with preference to students with a planned major in Engineering.
Chris "Spey" VanSpeybroeck Memorial Fund Scholarship Fund
This is two $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must have been involved in at least one service-oriented activity or organization in his or her school, community or place of worship.
Want to be a part of the true purpose of Share Joys? All Moline High School students are welcome to go Share Joy shopping with elementary students and their families. The shopping date is Sunday, December 9th. For more information and to sign up to shop, please come to a brief meeting in B206, Mrs. Norcross's room, after school today. This is your chance to see what Share Joys is all about! See you at today's meeting.
This Friday, the last day of Share Joys fundraising, ComedySportz professional comedians will be at Moline High School performing comedy improv. Get your passes in the bookstore to leave your 7th hour class on Friday, Dec.7. The show will be in the cafeteria, and there are only 500 passes available, so get to the bookstore as soon as you can. Each ComedySportz pass is $3.00.
