Want to be a part of the true purpose of Share Joys? All Moline High School students are welcome to go Share Joy shopping with elementary students and their families. COUNSELING CENTER
Donut Eating Team Members: All of the money your team raised is due in the Counseling Center on Wednesday, Dec. 5th. If you have it now, please bring it to the Counseling Center.
MHS Students and Staff: Buy your raffle tickets from the Share Joys Elves this week. You could win a Samsung Smart T.V. and many other prizes listed on the sheets in front of the main office. The drawing for the raffles will be Friday after 4th period.
Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP) - The Army Educational Outreach Program is offering a summer apprentice program with the Department of the Army laboratories for students in grades 10-12 with interest and ability in science and mathematics. Students will work with scientists and engineers as mentors. This has a deadline of February 28th. Visit the Counseling website for details and to apply.
A Boys Minority Youth Forum will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at the Butterworth Center, Moline. Topics of education, career, resume, dating, mental and physical health and military options will be discussed. Visit the Counseling Center for sign up information.

The Academic Teams represented Moline well in Peoria last Saturday. Colin Stewart captained a team consisting of Omar Babu, Marty Manning, Vamshi Regalla, Vishal Jain, and Mohtadi Ali, and brought home a fourth place trophy in the Varsity division. The JV team of Ben Aumuller, Charlie Poor, Martin Poor, Landon Reed, and Kaeleen Smith were led by Grace Wickwire and earned second place in the Frosh-Soph division. Great work, Academic Team!
This Friday, the last day of Share Joys fundraising, ComedySportz professional comedians will be at Moline High School performing comedy improv. Get your passes in the bookstore to leave your 7th hour class on Friday, Dec.7. The show will be in the cafeteria, and there are only 500 passes available, so get to the bookstore as soon as you can. Each ComedySportz pass is $3.00.
