AI Policy

AI Policy:
The use of generative AI by students in courses at MHS is strictly prohibited when used to replace student writing and/or research, to avoid problem-solving and/or verifying answers, and/or to bypass the citation process; the use of AI to replace student voice or student thinking goes against the purpose of education. Teachers may use generative AI for discretionary purposes in their classrooms as long as its use is carefully monitored and does not replace student voice or student thinking.
