Welcome back everyone! I hope everyone had a restful break. As we begin a new semester I hope all my students will commit themselves to doing their absolute best in math (and in all their classes). As a reminder, 2nd semester is significantly more difficult than 1st semester, so it is extra important for my students to stay on top of their assignments every day.
Again, welcome back

First, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy Holiday Season. Second, I would like to make sure everyone is aware of a few "end of the semester" house keeping items...
1.) The last day (as posted since last week in Mr. Karl's classroom) for ANY missing/late work is Tuesday, December 18, 2012
2.) For my Freshman, all extra credit assignments are due by Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
3.) Semester Review Worksheets & Answers are posted on the blog under the tab of each class, respectively.
4.) If you believe you are eligible for the MHS finals attendance incentive, in any of your classes, PLEASE verify that status, for each class period, with your class' respective teacher.
As Always, feel free to contact me if you have any quesitons pertaining to finals or the end of the semester.

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. Now that we are in the home stretch, let me remind each of my students to stay on top of their remaining work and to finish the semester strong.

Welcome to the start of the new school year
Along with that, I would also like to welcome everyone to my school blog. There are many important items you will want to use from here, so allow me to highlight them...
1.) All my class notes (in pdf format) will be up-loaded to this blog by 6:00 p.m. each day we have a lesson.
2.) Most (not all due to copyright considerations) worksheets will be posted as well (usually as pdf flies attached to the lesson that the worksheet corresponds with).
3.) Instructions on how to access your textbook on-line (for Algebra I & Applied Algebra classes ONLY)
4.) A homework pass to be used once per semester (more details about the homework pass can be found when you download the pass from the tab above)
As the year progresses there may be more "goodies" added to the blog, so check it frequently. Please feel free to contact me [skarl@molineschools.org] with any questions you might have. Have a wonderful school year!
Mr.Karl
