Friday, February 6th - Complete and check E-29 Practice Test in Workbook with partner (E-29-13 pt). Hand out Periodic Tables. Homework: Continue the E-29 Practice Problems ALL on pages 23 and 24 in Workbook (due next Tues). Here is another E-29 Practice Test if you would like one E-29-14 pt2 (Test is next Tuesday!!!). Label the Atomic Numbers, Symbols, and the "Green Stairstep"  on your home made Periodic Table (due next Wed).

The following clues are about types of radiation ACROSS -  43, 47 /DOWN - 20. Continue the E-26 History of the Atom Crossword (due Wed). Read E-27 in the Workbook (See Workbook for relevant black textbook pages.) and begin doing ALL of the E-27 More Practice Problems from page 13 in the Workbook AND list the names, dates, and accomplishments of the eight scientists responsible for creating modern atomic theory  (E-27-14 ss/E-27-08 mpp)(due Wed). Have you made your E-28 flashcards? Wednesday, January 21st - Introduce blog (http://mhs.molineschools.org/kanderso/?cat=86). Begin Question of the Day Sheet #1 Question 1 (ESQOTD B 2009). Explain Earth Science in the News (ESITN 2009). Continue Chapter 30.1 Goal 1 in composition notebook and get stamped through letter F. Homework: Complete Earth Science in the News (due on or before next Tues).

Here is what we are doing in Chemistry this week ...

Important Notes: If you didn't take 1st Semester Chemistry, please tell your teacher ASAP ... You will need to complete the Flinn Safety Contract and take the Safety Quiz (This is required to do lab work.).

For this course, all students are expected to have a science notebook (with graph paper pages), a pen, and a scientific calculator (with an EE or EXP button).

Taking the final? Please review your Yellow textbook, the Objective Sheets (ESC26.2Obj (2014)/ESC2.1 and 10Obj (2014)/ESC6,14-18Obj (2014)), the Power Points (Power Points are in the Student Shared folder under All Students and Earth Science.), Review Sheets and Games (C26.2 Term Tricks/C26.2 RS/C26.2 SR/C26.2 FaP/2.1 and 10 DB/C14-18 LB/C14-18 J) your Composition Notebook, and this 1st Semester Review Sheet (FRS Sem I new). You may use you Composition Notebook on the final!!!

Monday, January 5th - INSERVICE DAY. NO SCHOOL.

If you haven't presented your Landforms Project yet, you MUST be ready to present TODAY (You will lose one letter grade for each day it is late!!!) ... 

Here are the Project Sheet (LF PS new), the Topic List (LF LSU new), the Key Terms List (LF KT new), the MHS Media Center Pathfinder (New Landform Pathfinder 2013), examples of Good vs. Bad presentation slides (good vs bad), and the Grading Rubric (LF PP Rubric new).

We will continue completing the Landforms Note Sheet while we watch the presentations (LF NS) and turn it in when they are finished.

Wednesday, January 7th - COLD DAY. NO SCHOOL.

Thursday, January 8th - Landforms Presentations. Turn in Landforms Note Sheet. Begin the Maps in Action Packet ... C14-18 MIA AS (This is the First Page ONLY.).

Wednesday, January 14th - Earth Science Finals Review (Must be in class to do.). PERIOD 7 FINALS.

Thursday, January 15th - PERIOD 1-3 FINALS. Turn in book TODAY if taking the Earth Science Final.
