There will be a Kaleidoscript meeting in B215 @ 3:15 today. See all members there! If you haven't picked up your shirt or turned in your lollipop money, tomorrow is the best time to do so! Please bring registration for Whitewater as well.
All Academic Team members are invited to the first practice of the year today. Please bring your information forms if you haven't already turned them in to one of the Coach Andersons. Interested in Scholastic Bowl? It's not too late to join the Academic Team! See you in E102, practice starts around 3:15.
Drama Club will meet today after school in E204.
There will be a very brief emergency Art Club meeting today after school in E114.

Today is College Application Day at MHS. Getting an education beyond high school has a positive effect on career opportunities, future salary, poverty levels, life expectancy, and crime rates in our community. Thank you to all students and staff participating!
Come and support the Boys Soccer team tonight as they take on arch rival U.T.H.S. on Senior Night.
Seniors: Graduation Items and Cap and Gown orders are due on Tuesday, October 14th from 7:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. This is your only day to place your graduation order at school!
Tonight at 6:30 PM the cast of "James and the Giant Peach" will perform a scene from the show at the Moline Public Library in the Children's Theater. Afterwards, the cast members will be on hand to help kids make insect-themed crafts and art projects. If you have young brothers or sisters, this would be a perfect activity to take them to. Best of all; IT'S FREE!

Congratulations to all the band and choir students who auditioned for IMEA this past weekend! We had 3 students make district Jazz Band, 7 made district Band, and 14 students made district choir! It was a wonderful turn out! Thank you to all who auditioned, and congratulations to those who made the District Ensembles!
If you’re looking for something to do after school, stop by the Moline Public Library on Wednesdays between 2:30 and 4:30 for TEEN-ucopia, a variety of video games, board games, and crafts. No sign-up is needed, just drop in and have some fun!
Reminder to all students: Yearbook prices will increase on October 20th. Buy your yearbook now so that you are guaranteed a yearbook and can avoid any lines at the end of the year.
If you will be 18 by November 4th, and are not registered to vote...please see Mrs. Mesick in the Library Media Center today to get registered. One of your rights and privileges as a U.S. citizen is to vote for the people who will be making the laws that directly affect you! Don't throw away that right. Please, register and vote!
