Latinos Unidos: come to J322 today from 3:10 – 4:00 P.M. to make a craft for Day of the Dead. We will make sugar skulls and other crafts. Bring a friend. ¡Adios!
The Random Acts of Kindness Club will meet next Monday, October 20th, after school in Ms. Ciucci's room, J323. We will vote on the fall fundraiser. Hope you can make it!
Attention Powder Puff participants: Powder Puff is $15.00 and includes a t-shirt and the money must be turned in by today or Friday to the Bookstore. Those who have paid by Friday may pick up their shirts at the Bookstore on Monday.
There will be a Powder Puff mandatory meeting today at 3:05 in J138. All players and coaches must attend this meeting!
The Powder Puff game will be Monday, October 20th at 6:00 P.M. at Browning Field.
The cost of admission is $5.00 per person or 5 cans or $10.00 per family or 10 cans.
Reminder to Interact members: Interact meetings are held every day after school in E301 throughout the Hunger Drive.
There will be a Crime Stoppers meeting next Tuesday, Oct 21 in Mrs. Mahieu's room C123 at 3:05. Crime Stoppers T-shirt money needs to be turned in ASAP to Mrs. Mahieu room C123 before Tuesday’s meeting.
Seniors who are interested in attending Black Hawk College next fall: You should receive a Black Hawk College Field Trip form today in class. If you do not get a form by the end of the day, stop by the Counseling Center. These forms are due back in the Counseling Center by next Wednesday, Oct. 22nd to go on the November 5th field trip. No forms will be accepted after the due date.
Reminder to any student that volunteered to work at the Logan Carnival: It is this Friday, October 17th. There are still spots available for those who are interested. Please see Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center.
Any student interested in volunteering for the Willard School Carnival on October 21st from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M., please see Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center.
Buy your tickets today for the play James and the Giant Peach in the Moline High School bookstore. Tickets are six dollars for students and eight dollars for adults. There will be a big crowd at the door, so be sure to get your tickets early.
Attention hungry students! Don’t you just love breakfast pizza? Make a difference in the Student Hunger drive competition and help your period 2 class win a breakfast party! All you need to do is bring in lots of cans and non-perishable food items to your period 2 class. Dried food goods earn 1 point per item, can food earns 2 points per item, and 32 oz. cans earn 4 points per item! Your support in this worthwhile cause is much appreciated and you might just win the party too!
Just a reminder: Friday is the last day to purchase your yearbook for 50.00.
Clear up your Library fines and feed a child. From now through the end of the Hunger Drive, the Library will accept a non-perishable food item for every 50 cents you owe in overdue fines.
