Attention all Lineotype reporters:  Please be sure that all stories for this month's issue are completed and saved to Trello, shared with your editor, or sent to the LineO'Type emails.  If your story is not done, please plan to come to the Publication's Office after school today to complete it.

Also, this is a reminder to all students wanting to be a part of next year's LineO'Type staff: Today is the last day to submit your application.  Please turn your completed application in to Mrs. Norcross in B206 or the Publication's Office.

Attention seniors:  Today is the last day to complete and turn in your Senior Survey.  Forms can be found in the Publication's office.  All completed forms must be submitted to the Publication's Office by 3 PM today.

A reminder, with the final days of school and our end of year activities, please carry yourself appropriately and represent yourself, your family, and the Moline community positively.  If needed, please refresh your memory on school policies and review the student handbook as they are in effect for the remainder of the year.  Individuals breaking school policy at school events, including Prom may be excluded from our remaining activities, including Convocation, Commencement, and Project Graduation.  Make the finish to this school year a positive experience for you, your family, and the Moline Community.

This is a reminder to all students interested in applying for the next year's Line O'Type staff.  All applications are due by Thursday, May 7 and should be turned in to the Publications Office or Mrs. Norcross in room B206.

Attention all seniors:  If you didn't fill out your Line O' Type Senior Survey in PE, please stop by the Publications Office or Mrs. Norcross's room in B206 to pick one up.  All completed forms can be dropped off in the box outside the Publications Office on B-Wing second floor and should be turned in no later than Thursday, May 7th.

Attention all Freshmen and Sophomores: 

This Wednesday you will be taking a standardized test in the morning.  All 9th and 10th grade students need to arrive at school by 8:10 a.m., regardless of their normal start time.  Please make arrangements to arrive on time for testing.

Please be sure to check the signs above the drinking fountains to determine your testing classroom.  All freshmen will be testing on second floor and sophomores will be testing on third floor.  Please be sure to bring two pencils and a calculator.  There will be a limited number of calculators available for use on the day of the test.  School will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors:

This Wednesday you will be attending an Operation Prom presentation in the auditorium. It is essential that all 11th and 12th grade students do not arrive at school before 8:30 a.m. on that day, as testing will be going on in the building for underclassmen.  Juniors and seniors may only enter the building through the doors by the auditorium or by the student parking lot, and should report directly to the AUD.  There will be no other access to the building on that morning for juniors and seniors.

Please support Mr. Thompson's welding program by getting on Facebook and voting for the MTI Grant. Instructions have been posted above the water fountains. The voting ends tonight and the race is close so please vote and share.

The Moline Public Library is hosting a Video Game Design workshop starting this Saturday, May 9. Learn how to create your own video games and apps. Registration is required. Call the library to sign up.

Stop by the Moline Public Library on Saturday, May 2 between 2:00 and 4:00 to celebrate Free Comic Book Day. Pick up a free comic book, draw your own cartoons, snap a superhero selfie, take part in a trivia quest, and much more. Costumes are optional.

National Honor Society members:  Please return or pick up your Birdies for Charity Forms from Mrs. Ryser in the Counseling Center.  We currently have 11 pledges.  Seniors--Please bring your thank you notes or get the address for Mrs. Griffith and the NHS Foundation in the Counseling Center.

Freshmen--Black Hawk College and John Deere's Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Foundation are sponsoring a Science Night event May 4th from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M. at BHC.  Students ages 14-15 will participate in fun, hands-on STEM activities.  Parents and students can get useful college information, and there will be bilingual parent workshops.  To register, please come to the Counseling Center.

Are you looking for quality entertainment but don't have sufficient funds to make it happen? This Saturday, April 25th is the Student-Directed One Act Play Festival. You'll see five short plays directed by the seniors in Moline's Theater Program. There will be laughs! There will be tears!  All for only $2! See you there!

Back packs should be kept in your locker. Also, you must have a parking pass to park in the student parking lot. Tickets will be issued.
