Please come to today's Drama Club meeting. We will be discussing the Thespian Induction Ceremony. Your Thespian point sheets are due back to Mrs. Griesenbeck by this Friday, April 17th. No late point sheets will be accepted.
Any student who wants to participate in the Day of Silence to bring awareness to bullying and harassment of members of the LGTBQ community should see Mrs. Cook-Gregory in E-311 or Mrs. Mesick in the Media Center this week to get more information.
Attention members of the Gay Straight Alliance: If you have not picked up fundraising materials, please come to E311 as soon as possible.
The Fiber Arts Club meeting has been cancelled for today. Fiber Arts will meet next Wednesday.
Willard Elementary is looking for volunteers for their carnival on May 8th. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center to sign up.
Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences are having an Open House on Wednesday, April 15th from 4-6 p.m. For more information, please see Mrs. Ryser in the Counseling Center.
Students age 15 or older who are interested in medicine and science: There will be a Mini Medical School event presented by the University Of Iowa Carver College Of Medicine at Genesis Medical Centre East in Davenport on Tuesday evening, April 28, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is free, but registration will fill up fast. For registration information, please come to the Counseling Center.
Black Hawk College will have an Open House Saturday, April 25th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can take your Compass test from 9--10:30 a.m. and then take a tour and get all of your questions answered about registration for next fall. See your counselor for more information.
Navy Special Warfare! Do you want to learn more? See Mr. Woods as soon as possible in the Counseling Center. An actual Navy Scout will be here this Wednesday to talk about special warfare. Don’t forget to see Mr. Woods to sign up.
The Moline Kiwanis Scholarship is now available to graduating seniors. Students may apply online from the Counseling website. This scholarship has a due date of May 8, 2015.
On the evening of Tuesday, April 21, Moline High School will be offering a presentation to parents of sophomore students who are interested in learning more about the college application process and future planning for college and careers. Representatives from the MHS Counseling Department, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, and Career Cruising Quad Cities will give brief presentations and provide hand-outs and an opportunity to address parent questions. The presentation will be held in room B327 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21. We hope to see you there!
Anyone interested in playing football next year. Summer Camp registration forms are now available in the Athletic office or from Coach Gorgal in the East Gym. Go Maroons!
Order your Official Moline High School class ring, in school, on Monday, April 20th from 3pm until 6pm in the auditorium lobby. Packets have been passed out to the Freshmen Class. Any upperclassmen that still wish to purchase a class ring may also do so on Monday, April 20th.
This is a reminder to all Lineotype staff: We will have a short mandatory meeting in B206 after school today to plan and assign stories for this year's final issue. Please see Mrs. Norcross if you can't attend.
