CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
There will be an organizational meeting of the Gay Straight Alliance today in E-311 at 3:10. We will be electing officers, so if you are interested, please make sure you are present. New members are encouraged to attend.
MHS Bible Study will be meeting today in room J227 from 3:10-3:40. All are welcome!
Are you a nice person? Do you like making other people happy and brightening their day? If so, stop by the Random Acts of Kindness Club meeting MONDAY after school in B217. We'll have treats!
Crime Stoppers will be accepting applications through September 4th. Applications are available in the Attendance Office or in Mrs. Mahieu’s room C101.
Attention all Linotype editors and reporters: There will be a mandatory meeting for all reporters who are interested in writing for the Linotype this year after school on Tuesday in rooms B220 and B218. You must come to this meeting to sign up for a Trello account, meet the editors you will be writing for, and provide your necessary contact information. This meeting is mandatory. If you would like to be a photographer for the Linotype, a separate meeting will be held on Wednesday after school in B206. Please direct all questions about the Linotype to Mrs. Norcross in B206.
Attention all students.... anyone interested in joining the Bass Fishing team or learning more about it, there will be an informational meeting next Tuesday morning before school at 7:50 AM or after school at 3:05 PM in B322. Anyone who cannot attend the meeting should stop to see Coach Albrecht in B322.
Attention students! Would you like to sing the National Anthem before a sporting event? If so, try-outs will be Tuesday September 1st from 3:15pm to 4pm in C125, the Choir Room. You must try-out to be able to perform in front of a sporting event.
MHS Student Congress is pleased to announce the theme for the 2015 Homecoming Parade and Dance - "Las Vegas Homecoming"! Please submit a T-shirt Design for the Vegas theme in Jpeg format by Sept. 9th - the winning design will receive a $50 debit card.
Attention seniors - please check your MHS email to nominate students for the 2015 Homecoming Court. Use the Google Forms link to nominate two male and two female seniors no later than September 2nd.
Students: You must present your current student ID to receive service in the cafeteria and library.
For students who missed the Super Fan meeting, please go to the Dean’s Office and talk to Mr. Brown or Mr. Moore for more information.
If you ordered a class ring last spring, class ring delivery will be Tuesday, September 1st during Period 4 in the hallway outside the lunchroom.
