CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

Crime Stoppers will have a meeting in room B131 today after school. See you there!

 

If you participated in the Circa 21 scenic painting workshop, your paintings are in! Stop by Mrs. Griesenbeck’s room to pick up your artwork.

 

On Friday, February 26th Student Congress will be hosting a Blood Drive. Sign-ups will be Tuesday through Thursday during lunch. Each pint you give can save 3 lives!

 

COUNSELING CENTER

The Moline Kiwanis is now offering its annual scholarship to graduating seniors.  The application may now be downloaded off of the Counseling website and the due date is March 30, 2012.

 

The applications for National Honor Society are due to Mrs. Ryser in the counseling center today at 3:15 p.m. 

 

SPORTS

All wrestlers must have their lockers cleaned out by Tuesday, February 21st. The wrestling room will be open for any wrestler wanting to workout for fresh/soph state today and Wednesday of this week. There is also an end of the year meeting for all wrestlers immediately after school this Wednesday in the wrestling room. Off season workout information will be handed out at this time.

 

Anyone interested in trying out for Freshman, Sophomore, or Varsity baseball will need to stop by J206 and pick up a schedule. See Coach Dillie or Coach Shimmel if have any questions.  

 

Any girls interested in soccer need to have a physical and parent permission form completed by Feb. 27th. The 27th will be the first day of practice. You will meet in the cafeteria at 3:15 on that day. See Coach Sanchez if you have any questions.

 

All boys interested in tennis this Spring need to report to Coach Jones' room J208A after school Wednesday February 22nd for a mandatory signup meeting.  Players need to turn in their physical and parent permission forms as soon as possible to the Athletic office.

 

 

MISC

The MHS Food Service students will be selling treats today during Parent/Teacher conferences. Stop by the “M” and purchase some mint brownies or biscotti.

 

Stage Crew for "The Sound of Music" will meet in the auditorium tonight from 6:30 till 8:30 and again on Saturday from 9:00 until 2:00. Please come to either or both times if you are available. Come prepared to build and/or paint scenery. Dress appropriately with no loose fitting clothes, closed toed shoes, and hair tied back. Bring money for pizza on Saturday. See you there!

 

The 2012 Math Department Honors list is posted in math rooms.  Please let Mr. Weller know if you have any concerns.
