Today is the final day to buy flowergrams for your friends or that special “valentine”. Don’t miss out! Buy them in the cafeteria hallways today during lunch. Flowers will be delivered tomorrow morning (on Valentine’s Day). Thank you to all who participated in this fundraiser to support Authentic Voices.
Student Congress will meet tonight in Room D-125 at 6:30 p.m.
Young Life will meet tonight at Riverside Life Center (41st St. and 24th Ave) at 8:08 p.m. Every one is always welcome, so come and bring a friend!
There is an Upward Bound study session tomorrow after school. Hope to see you there.
Drama Club will meet in E204 tomorrow after school. See you then.
Congratulations to the girls bowling team for finishing in the top 25 in state. Great job Hannah Cuervorst, Lucy Hubbard, Jessica Howell, Kiely Miller, and Melody Welch!
All wrestlers must have their lockers cleaned out by Tuesday, February 21st. The wrestling room will be open for any wrestler wanting to workout for fresh/soph state today and Wednesday of this week. There is also an end of the year meeting for all wrestlers immediately after school this Wednesday in the wrestling room. Off season workout information will be handed out at this time.
Attention all bass team members: Tuesday after school the bass team will have it’s picture taken for the yearbook. Meet in the cafeteria and bring bass team attire for the picture. After the picture Coach Albrecht will hold a short meeting and sign up for team members to pick times to work the fund raising booth at this weekend’s Outdoor Show. The Outdoor Show is one of the bass team’s larger events, so attendance should be a priority for all team members. See Coach Albrecht in B322 if you have questions.
Any freshman or sophomore interested in trying out for baseball on February 27th will need to stop by J206 and pick up a schedule. See Coach Dillie or Coach Shimmel if have any questions.
A reminder to staff: the PTSA will be hosting the annual Founder’s Day Luncheon on Feb. 16th. Please refer to the red flyer you received in your mailbox. If you have misplaced it, see one of the ladies in the main office for RSVP instructions, as RSVP’s are required.
There will be a voter’s registration table open during all lunches Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week for anyone who will turn 18 on or before the March 20th primary election. You will need two forms of ID. Your best bet is your drivers license and your MHS id. Voting for your leaders is one of your rights as a citizen of the United States. Don’t let others decide for you. Register to vote tomorrow.
