CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
The frosh/soph Academic Team brought home a 3rd place trophy from Sterling over the weekend. Teammates earning points to make this possible were Pranav Puri, Ben Wolf, Eric Scheidler, Biniam Anderber, and Steffen Timer. Good work!
Attention all theatre students: there are still a few spots left on the Circa 21 Day field trip. Bring $30.00 to B214, Mrs. Griesenbeck's room, to reserve your spot. You’ll attend awesome theatre workshops in the morning, have lunch, then see the hit musical Grease in the afternoon. Don't be left behind. Questions? See Mrs. G. ASAP!
Drama Club will meet after school in E204. Yearbook pictures will be taken at today’s meeting. Any drama club member who doesn't want to be left out of the picture should plan on attending the meeting.
Upward Bound will have a study session today after school. Hope to see you there.
Book Club members who would like to be in the yearbook photo should meet in the library right after school on Wednesday.
Spanish and French Club: Come to J328 Thursday after school to play “Minute to Win It” games and have a snack. Please sign up in your classroom to bring treats.
National Honor Society seniors--Your picture for the yearbook has been scheduled for 3:05 on February 7th in the cafeteria.
COUNSELING CENTER
All sophomore students: You will need to complete your online scheduling by Wednesday, February 1st at midnight. When you are finished, print your course requests and put them in your counselor's box in the counseling center. If you do not complete your scheduling before that time, you will be required to do it after school in a computer lab at a later date.
The Quad City Area Labor Management Corporation is now offering two $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors. The due date for these scholarships is April 6, 2012. To access criteria and to download an application, visit the Counseling Website.
SPORTS
Track and Field practice is starting for any athlete not currently in a sport. Any girl, please see Mr. Bohnsack or Mr. Woods for information.
