CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
Authentic Voices members are reminded of the meeting today during 6th period. Come discover your “love language”.
Crime Stoppers will meet in room B152 after school today. See you there!
Attention Student Congress: The yearbook photo for Student Congress will be taken today right after school in room D-125.
Attention current senior members of National Honor Society: There will be a picture for the yearbook on Friday, April 1st at 3:00 in the Aud. Lobby. This is the last chance to be in the yearbook for NHS.
Spanish Club will be bowling after school on Tuesday, April 5. See Mrs. Harwood in J326 for permission slips.
COUNSELING CENTER
The following scholarships are now available. Applications may be picked up in the Counseling Center:
1. Credit Professional International Scholarship (no set criteria)
- National Society of Professional Engineers - Students must be planning on majoring in an engineering field.
- QC Illini Club Scholarship - for students planning to attend Univ. of Illinois
If there are any students who wish to take an Advanced Placement Exam for which MHS does not offer the course, please sign up with Mrs. Ryser by Friday, April 1st.
SPORTS
There will be an informational meeting Monday, Apr. 4 in room J222 at 4:00 for all girls interested in trying out for cheerleading. If unable to attend, please have someone else provide you with information and permission forms gathered from this meeting.
Early morning off-season swim practice has been canceled. If you have questions see coach Ehlers. Any warm-ups not yet turned in need to be returned immediately.
MISC
An opportunity available to ALL MHS students: If you are interested in being a community volunteer on Sat. April 2nd, please sign up in J307 by today after school. Volunteers will be working outside from 8 am until Noon. You have the option of working all or part of the shift. If you have any questions, stop by J307.
If you like live theatre then you should come to the One Act performances on this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Plus, the entry-fee is only $1 to see your peers' performances! Come one and come all to the Student-Directed One Acts!
Would you like to meet the world record holder of push-ups? Come meet John Morrow…the current Guinness World Record push-up champ. Also, you’ll have a chance to make a new record as part of a group – a group that does the most push-ups in an hour. Mr. Morrow will be here today at 3:10 in Mr. Mahieu’s room, J138. Please come be part of a world record and in helping QC charities while you do it!
