CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
The first payment for the Illinois High School Theatre Fest is due this week. Participants, if you have not done so already, please bring your $75.00 to Mrs. Griesenbeck in Room B214. Checks should be made payable to Moline High School. If we do not receive your payment by October 18th, your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list.
The drama club t-shirts are in! If you have already paid, you may pick up your shirt in B214, Mrs. Griesenbeck's room. If you haven't paid yet, please bring your $10.00 to Mrs. Griesenbeck ASAP and pick up your shirt at the same time.
Crime Stoppers will meet after school today in B152 immediately after school.
Attention Yearbook Staff: The sophomore, junior, and athletic sections need to attend a brief meeting after school today in B206. Do not miss this meeting.
The Key Club meeting will be after school today in the cafeteria.
Latinos Unidos: Come today after school to J322 to finish the banner for the parade. Adios!

Farmer’s feed the World! Want a career in agriculture? See Mr. Woods about the November 12th career fair at the John Deere Pavilion.
The birth date for second semester Driver Ed. has changed again. If you were born on or before December 1st, 1995 and would like to take the class, bring a note with parent permission and see your counselor right away. Spaces will be filled on a first come first served basis.
The Community of the Great River Bend is now offering a variety of scholarships to Moline senior Students. Please visit the counseling website for the specific scholarships, or stop by and see Mr. Bodeen for more information. Deadline for these scholarships is February 17, 2011.
The Iowa/Illinois Autoshow is now offering two scholarships available to Moline High School students. Criteria may be found on the Moline counseling website and the deadline is January 4, 2011.

Comedy Sportz tickets for Friday are on sale for $3.00 at the bookstore.
Students, Faculty and Staff are invited to a Homecoming Concert of the Orchestras and Jazz Band tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Moline High School “Memorial” Auditorium. The hour long concert will feature music of the Baroque to Big Band. Tickets are available at the door.
Attention all students: if you want your 1st hour class to win a breakfast bring cans...cans....cans to your first hour class! The class with the most pounds collected will win breakfast pizza for the whole class!
Any girl wanting to ride on the girls track & field float needs to see Mr. Bohnsack or Paige Key before the end of school on Friday. Also, please sell and get Booster Bash tickets turned in.
Any girl or boy tennis player wishing to ride on the homecoming float should wear a Moline tennis shirt and meet in the student parking lot at 1:30.
Freshman float building is taking place off 4th Ave., near 52nd St. and the Fright Factory. Let’s show those upperclassmen who has the most spirit! Join us for float building any time after 4:00 p.m. today.
Hey Sophomores! Don't forget about float building tonight. We are building at the Christian Friendliness Center on 41st street and 12th avenue in Moline. Float building starts at 5 o'clock, come on out and support your fellow classmates!
Attn. all Juniors: Homecoming float building will continue tonight from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Location for junior float building is the same as last year: outside D-wing by the baseball fields. We need as many Juniors as possible to help finish the float! If you would like to walk with the class float in the parade, please see Ms. Gustafson, Rm. D125 or Ms. Lagomarcino, Rm. C101.
Senior float building will take place again tonight at Heritage Landscape (4500 49th Ave) from 6-10:00 p.m. All seniors are welcome!
