CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
On Saturday the Varsity Academic team won two of three matches at the Dunlap sectional, losing only to eventual winner Morton in a match that went down to the last question. The team had an excellent season, winning both a Masonic Sectional and an IHSA regional title. Congratulations!
Today is the Drama Club meeting. Go to B214 right after school. See you then!
There is an Upward Bound study session today after school in room B217.
The MHS Book Club will be meeting today during your lunch in the Media Center. Hope to see you there!
There will be a Line O’ Type meeting after school today. Editors- please come and assign articles if you have not already done so.
All Natural Helpers are invited to a potluck Wednesday night in the cafeteria at 6:00
Living Lands and Waters needs volunteers for their “million trees” project. Any students wishing to volunteer should see Mr. B in J137 for details.
Help! Kaleidoscript needs a cover before Friday!! Be the one to showcase your artistic talents on the cover of this year's magazine. See Mrs. Derouin in B209 ASAP. Also, Kaleidoscript is going to press next week and we need all available members to join us in B209 this Friday morning for final layout. We know you don't have class, so we hope to see you there!
COUNSELING CENTER
If you’re not sure exactly what engineering is all about, but are interested in finding out, you should consider attending St. Ambrose’s informal question and answer session. This session will be held Mar. 31st. Mrs. Dexter in the counseling center has more information.
Any sophomore interested in getting a scholarship to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards weekend in May, should see Mrs. Ryser in the counseling center. The deadline to apply is March 26th.
SPORTS
Attn all volleyball players: All girls planning to go out for volleyball next fall must attend a brief meeting before school this Wednesday at 7:50 a.m. OR at 3:05 p.m. in Coach Albrecht’s room (B322). You will be discussing camps, summer league and open gym schedules. Attendance is mandatory for all girls planning to try out for volleyball this fall. If you cannot attend either meeting, see Coach Albrecht today.

Staff or students who would like to donate money to help Gabe Perkins and the Perkins family may bring donations to Mrs. Ryser in the counseling center by Friday, March 19th. Mr. Perkins is a science teacher at Wilson Middle School.
