Attention Art Club members! There will be an Art Club meeting after school in E114. We will be learning about silk screening. Hope to see you there!
Link Crew applications for the 09-10 school year are due NO LATER than 3:05 p.m. TODAY! Even last year’s crew must reapply if interested. No late applications will be accepted!

Counseling Center
Are you interested in your community? Would you like to volunteer to learn about community issues or about how can you play a role in making a difference? If you said yes to any of these, you should see Mrs. Dexter in the counseling center.
Would you like to learn more about engineering? St. Ambrose University invites those who are interested in exploring engineering careers to an open house. It will be April 7th (over Spring Break) at the Rogalski Center from 5:30-8:00 p.m. See Mrs. Dexter if you’d like more information.
Want a job? If so, the Rock Island Aquatics Swim Club will need to hire life guards. Mrs. Dexter has info on this opportunity as well.
SPORTS
There is a mandatory meeting for all wrestlers on Thursday after school in the wrestling room. If you are a wrestler, you need to be there.
MISC.
John Deere is accepting intern applications. There will be a question and answer session about the internship and application process on Thursday, period 3 in room A 152. See Mr. Carlough for information.
One of our students was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. In order to offset medical expenses, family and friends are coordinating a fundraising event. On Saturday, May 9th, beginning at 1:00 p.m., there will be a bake sale, silent auction, music, raffle prizes, and a taco bar at the Moline VFW. Please make an attempt to show your support in this benefit to help a fellow student If you’d like more information, a flyer has been posted on the bulletin board near the main entrance.
