This is an important announcement for seniors!  Today, during your period 4 class, you will receive your individual PSAE score reports.  Period 5 you will be in the auditorium for a senior class meeting.  Please be sure to bring these reports with you when you report to the auditorium.

Attention seniors:  The Senior Panoramic picture has been rescheduled for next Friday, September 26th during period 2.

The list of Crew Heads for 'James and the Giant Peach' is now posted on the Drama Board. If you turned in a crew head application, please check the list and initial to accept your position. The position of Dramaturge is still unfilled; if you're interested in this leadership position, see Mrs. Griesenbeck today.

Students interested in working on one of the crews, please sign up on the Drama Board by Wednesday of this week.

On Saturday, October 18, Moline High School’s high ranking juniors are eligible to take the PSAT-NMSQT exam.  This exam is designed to give juniors practice with standardized testing in the format of the SAT, and it is also the ONLY OPPORTUNITY juniors have to qualify for National Merit Scholar status.  Any juniors interested in taking this optional exam need to see Mrs. Sanders in the counseling center between September 8 and September 24.  Slots are filled on a first-come, first serve basis and will only be held with the $25 testing fee.  (Checks should be made out to Moline High School.)  Spaces are limited, so all interested juniors are encouraged to sign up and pay as soon as possible.  No late registration will be accepted.

Willard Elementary is looking for volunteers for their Fall Carnival on October 21st from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. See Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center if interested.

Volunteers needed: Are you looking for the opportunity to volunteer? Special Olympics is in need of 125 volunteers to assist with the Special Olympic Bowling Competition to be held on Sunday, October 5th at Highland Park Bowl here in Moline. On Saturday, October 18, Moline High School’s high ranking juniors are eligible to take the PSAT-NMSQT exam.  This exam is designed to give juniors practice with standardized testing in the format of the SAT, and it is also the ONLY OPPORTUNITY juniors have to qualify for National Merit Scholar status.  Any juniors interested in taking this optional exam need to see Mrs. Sanders in the counseling center between September 8 and September 24.  Slots are filled on a first-come, first serve basis and will only be held with the $25 testing fee.  (Checks should be made out to Moline High School.)  Spaces are limited, so all interested juniors are encouraged to sign up and pay as soon as possible.  No late registration will be accepted.

The cast list for "James and the Giant Peach" is now posted on the drama board across from the library. Thank you to all who auditioned. The first read-through will be Thursday after school.

There will be girls’ basketball open gyms on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-6:45, in the east gym for any girl interested and not involved in a fall sport.

Any student that is interested in swimming this year may come to open pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 6am at the pool."
