Attention new Link Leaders! Congratulations on being selected for next year’s Link Crew! In order to confirm your spot as a Link Leader, each of you must stop in the Counseling Center to complete the acceptance process. Any Link Leader who fails to confirm his or her placement by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15th will be replaced with another qualified candidate. Thank you to all who applied, and please consider applying again next year if your name did not make the list this year.
A huge thank you to the160 students who participated in the Day of Silence last Friday. There is a short meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance in E-311 after school today to discuss the DoS experience. Anyone interested in attending is welcome.
Thespian forms are due by the end of the day on Tuesday. If you do not get your thespian forms turned in, you will not be recognized at the thespian banquet.
The Justin Sharp Memorial Scholarship is now available to graduating senior students. Applicants must have at least a 3.25 GPA. This scholarship may be downloaded from the counseling website and has a due date of June 1, 2014.
Attention Seniors! The due date for the Moline local scholarships is April 15. Applications and criteria for all are listed on the Counseling website.
Attention seniors who are planning to go to Black Hawk College in the fall: If you have not applied to Black Hawk College, taken the Compass Test, or made an advising appointment yet, please come to the Counseling Center today to sign up to complete these steps. Advising at Black Hawk started April 1st for next fall. The recruiter from Black Hawk will be here on Wednesday, April 16th to meet with seniors to get them ready for their advising appointments.
Order your official Moline High School class ring, in school, on Tuesday, April 22nd from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Packets have been passed out to the Freshmen Class. Any upperclassmen that still wish to purchase a class ring may also do so on Tuesday, April 22nd.
A huge "thank you" to the 28 students and 7 staff and adult volunteers who donated their time and energy on Saturday to help with the cleanup efforts in Washington, IL. Your hard work was very much appreciated by the residents of the Washington community and Moline School District. You did a wonderful job representing MHS. Way to go!
