Natural Helpers Holiday Party will be tonight in the Cafeteria from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M.  There will also be an Ugly Sweater contest.  All Natural Helper staff and students are welcome.  Students with the last name letter of A-M bring chips or snacks and N-Z bring desserts.  Team leaders are asked to bring plates, cups, napkins, drinks, or utensils.

The Illinois Chemical Foundation is now offering several $2000 scholarships.  This scholarship has a due date of February 20 and can be downloaded from the counseling website.

The third and final payment for the Illinois High School Theater Fest is due today. Please write checks payable to Moline High School.  Please make every effort to take care of this ASAP.

MHS Book Club is meeting today in the library during your lunch.  See you then!

Check out our new Xbox One and make some holiday crafts. No sign-up is needed, just drop in and have some fun!

The American Legion is now offering the Illinois Boys State Program.  Applicants must have a high degree of interest in governments and politics. Two individuals will be picked from Moline High School and registration and transportation will be taken care of to Eastern Illinois University.  For more information, please stop by and see Mr. Bodeen in the Counseling Center.

There will be an Interact Club meeting today in room E-301 @ 3:10.  Anyone interested in getting information on this club and its activities are encouraged to go to the meeting.

Today is the last practice for Improv. Work schedules will be distributed and there will be a final run-through of all the games.  Please make every effort to be there!

Donut Eating Teams:  You money is due to Mrs. Ryser in the Counseling Center by noon today.

Staff and Students:  Whitey's Ice Cream will be on sale in the cafeteria today through Friday of this week during 4th hour.  Raffle tickets are for sale from Share Joys elves now through Friday 4th hour.  Prizes will be drawn Friday during 5th hour.

Students wanting to help with the Share Joys shopping this Sunday, December 14th from 7:00 to 10:00 A.M. at JC Penney need to sign up today in B201 after school with Mrs. Blackall.

You have until Friday, December 12th to receive a Share Joys ticket for each 50 cents you pay in library fines.  This is a great opportunity to pay your fines and help Share Joys at the same time.

Moline High School's speech team placed 3rd overall in the team sweepstakes. The team sweepstake prize was a donation to any local charity and Encore! has chosen to make their donation to MHS Share Joys!

There will be no Drama Club meeting today. Instead, we'll meet right after school in the Aud. Lobby for Improv rehearsal. We only have two practices left before Share Joys performances. We're learning another brand new game today, so make sure you're on time and ready for fun!

Fiber Arts Club will meet today from 3:10 to 4:30 in room E111.

Congratulations to the Varsity Academic Team for their 2nd place finish at the Davenport Central tournament on Saturday!   Will Fisher, Connor Bivens, David Fudge, Divya Badri, and Adrian McDevitt all contributed to this success.

Congratulations to Moline's Special Olympics Basketball Team for winning 1st place at the Holiday Hoops Tournament this weekend! Also huge congratulations to Ashley Redell who received a gold medal at the Special Olympics Bowling State competition!  It was an Amazing weekend for our Special Olympics Team!

Congratulations to all of the donut eating teams who raised $15, 511.00 for Share Joys.  Our Top Banana award for raising the most money goes to the team of Brody Lyall.  The second place Big Donut award for the most money raised goes to the team of Stephanie Theofilis.  Our 2014 Donut King is Luke Giovanine, and this year's Donut Queen is Haley Cook. The Little Rascals team won for best costume. Congratulations to all who participated and thanks to Donut Delite for sponsoring the event!

Staff and students:  Buy your Share Joys tickets at the book store today! Monday, Share Joys elves will be selling baked goods and raffle tickets. Staff raffle prizes include a 46" Samsung Smart T.V., a Sony Blue Ray player and over 40 other great prizes.  Students can win a 28" Samsung Smart T.V., an ihome wireless bluetooth speaker system, and over 40 prizes, too!  You need Share Joys tickets to buy goodies and raffle tickets from the elves. Don't stand in line next week.

Between now and December 12th you will receive a Share Joys ticket for each 50 cents you pay in library fines.  This is a great opportunity to sweeten other's lives, and clear out your fines in the library at the same time.

There are several items in our Lost and Found located in the main office.  If you have lost something, please come in the office before or after school to claim your lost items.
