Plan-Do-Study-Act
The cornerstone of Continuous Improvement is the PDSA, a graphic organizer to ensure that change is intentional, and data driven. CI encourages paradigm shift as opposed to attempting to wedge new strategies into old framework, with exhausted budgets.
PDSA runs in a circular pattern to indicate that improvement is continuous. As one completes a circuit, the final action is to evaluate the results to standardize the process, or adjust it to improve results leading directly back into the Plan portion of the process.
